Mixed Feelings- Possessed

     Possessed by Kate Cann is a very interesting and thoughtful book. This book is about an ordinary girl called Rayne, she feels like she's getting controlled by her boyfriend too much and that she feels like a baby getting taken care by his boyfriend. Rayne wants a different life, although his boyfriend, Damian, treats her really good, she feels like her powers are limited. She also hates the hot, boiling heat in London. So she finds a way to escape her boyfriend and the place she's living in and finds a job at this creepy teaplace where it use to be haunted by ghosts. This incident separates her between her boyfriend and her family. I believe that Rayne is having a really complicated life so far in the book.

First of all, I think Rayne is having a really complicated life because of her boyfriend and what's going on between them. Rayne feels like her freedom is really limited and like she's being controlled over her boyfriend and that's one thing that adds to her complicated life. Damian is a nice person in my opinion but I think that Rayne is just a selfish person because Damian is already willing to give Rayne some stuff with his own money. Rayne never has to spend a penny but she wants more from him and is actually a pretty mean person, she doesn't really like him too because he's so boring. She tries to decide whether to dump him or not, with dozens of thoughts going through her mind, there's still more!

Second of all,  I think Rayne is having a really complicated life because she's forced to decide whether she should choose between her new boyfriend or his old boyfriend Damian. After she left London, she meets a new boy called St. John and some more of his friends. They quickly become attracted to him, but also thinks about Damian. She feels kind of guilty having two boyfriends, but in the end, she just chose St. John over Damian because he's better looking and has a better personality.

Third of all, I think Rayne is having a really complicated life because even though she got a new job, the place that she's working at also has consequences. There are freaky noises at night that scares Rayne and makes her really upset and worried.

Her life is just a full of mess, even though she has transferred from London to somewhere new. The only better thing is that she got a job which gives a really low pay, another bad part. Her life isn't organized and she can't get in contact with her mom or dad because she turns off her phone or ignores them. She ignores Damian's calls especially to avoid suspicion on what she's doing.

In conclusion, Kate has a really complicated life so far, she is dealing with tons of problem so far and will face more problems in the future. I predict that somehow, St. John will betray her and will make her life even more complicated.
